Affluent young couple Joseph and Maria are facing problems of intimacy in their marriage due to Maria's troubled past. Both agree to see a marriage counselor but, unbeknown to Joseph, Maria is also seeing a mysterious and most unconventional sex guru named Baltazar. Deeply hurt, Joseph confronts this enigmatic "teacher," only to fall under Baltazar's spell and begin his own sensual journey.
