Britain's finest - and most ill tempered is chef, Gareth Blackstock, chef at the prestigious restaurant Le Chateau Anglais, lets nothing interfere with his quest for culinary excellence. Gareth sets high expectations for his kitchen staff but they constantly bend the rules. Meanwhile, his dreams of being head chef and proprietor of his own restaurant are challenged by financial constraints.
