Heroin: Cape Cod, USA
Oscar(R)-winning documentary filmmaker Steven Okazaki (1991's "Days of Waiting") turns his focus on the heroin epidemic sweeping small-town America in this documentary. Centered primarily in Cape Cod, MA -- an idyllic summer town in the midst of a heroin crisis -- the film takes an unsparing look at the lives of several young people in their early 20s gripped by heroin addiction.
