In the summer of 1945, at the end of World War II, American troops made a startling discovery in northern Germany: a secret hangar housing a dozen unfinished boomerang-shaped aircraft, the HO 229. These Nazi "flying wings" were sent to the U.S. where a team of experts worked to reproduce Adolf Hitler's "stealth fighter." Could it really have eluded Allied radar and changed the course of the war?
