Monster

The Oscar winning, critically acclaimed, chilling true-crime story following sex-worker turned serial killer Aileen Wuornos, played by Charlize Theron who gives a powerhouse performance as "America's first female serial killer". Monster follows a love story in the midst of the horrors as Wuornos meets and falls in love with a young drifter, Selby Wall (Christina Ricci), and romance blossoms. To keep their relationship alive, she continues to sell her body, only to fuel an increasingly escalating deadly rage, a fury vented with a lurid string of killings and the media's sordid designation of her as a monster. Monster is a gritty, hard-hitting drama by acclaimed director Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman) also starring Bruce Dern.
