Japan, 2002. The Irish football team decamps to the island of Saipan to train for the FIFA World Cup. Their star player and captain, Roy Keane, is outraged at leadership’s subpar preparations and quarrels with manager Mick McCarthy, who removes him from the squad on the eve of the tournament.
