The Arbor

Andrea Dunbar, author of `Rita, Sue and Bob Too!' wrote honestly and unflinchingly about her upbringing on an estate in Bradford. When she died at the age of 29 in 1990, her daughter Lorraine was just ten years old. The Arbor revisits the Buttershaw Estate, 30 years on from the original play, and follows Lorraine's personal journey as she reflects on her own life and begins to understand the struggles her mother faced.
