The Deadly Tower

In this true story, on a hot August morning in 1966, Charles Whitman (Kurt Russell) carries a load of weapons to the top of the University of Texas administration building and begins shooting people 300 feet below. Whitman has already murdered his wife and his mother, and his rampage continues as he kills 12 more people and wounds 31. The killing continues until police officer Ramiro Martinez (Richard Yñiguez), in an act of heroism, climbs the tower and overcomes Whitman. But many questions remain from this shocking act of violence that rocks a quiet college campus--questions that are explored in The Deadly Tower.
