The Road Home

When city businessman Luo Yusheng (Honglei Sun) returns to his village in northern China for his father's funeral, his elderly mother insists that all traditional burial customs be observed. Yusheng reflects on the stories he heard as a boy about his parents' courtship: His father, Luo Changyu (Zheng Hao), came to the village as the new teacher and fell in love with lovely Di Zhao (Zhang Ziyi)....
