Together Alone

Shooting on 16mm in his own apartment with a budget of just $7,000, filmmaker P.J. Castellaneta wrote, directed, produced, edited and even catered this 1991 queer classic, following two young lovers as they get to know one another and discuss the issues of the era. An intimate film capturing a very specific time in LGBTQ+ history, this long-lost indie is finally back and ripe for rediscovery.
