Waiting for God
Tom Ballard is a retired accountant and Diana Trent is a no-nonsense, sharp- tongued ex-journalist. It seems an unlikely alliance, but Tom wins Diana's respect when he first arrives by organizing a hunger strike to improve the food. Twin spirits with a strong non-conformist streak, they refuse to accept the constraints of old age and especially authority.
