Zardoz

Visually arresting sci-fi set in 2293, when the Earth's population has been divided into two camps as a result of overdeveloped technology. The Exterminators police a desolate zone and worship the god Zardoz, who supplies them with guns from the sky. When one of them begins to question his faith and breaks out, he discovers the land of the Eternals, an ageless intellectual oligarchy, and begins a struggle to overturn the system.
