Zora Neale Hurston: Jump at the Sun
Zora Neale Hurston was a Florida author and the Queen of the Harlem Renaissance. Her novels explored the lives of ex-slaves in the Deep South. Critics said she promoted stereotypes - she said they rejected black culture. Although she died penniless, her books out of print, black feminists resurrected her work.
