The Rocketeer

Los Angeles, 1938. Racing pilot Cliff Secord (Bill Campbell) stumbles across a one-man jet pack that has been stashed by a gangster fleeing from the FBI. Using the jet pack to save a distressed plane, he becomes something of a super-hero. But there are others who want the futuristic machine, chief among them a duplicitous movie star (Timothy Dalton) who is in reality spying for the Nazis.
